Gia's AKC litter will be here in Mid-July, and we are hoping for Junie's AKC litter in late August! Small standard size - parents are Gia, 9, Jojo, 10 and Junie 11lbs. All puppies are hand raised under foot in our home. We are located in Jacksonville, FL. Adoption price is $2500 pet home for males and $2800 pet home female. We do not offer full AKC rights to breeders. Video chat and in home visits available. All puppies come microchipped with first shots, a Florida health certificate and a one year health guarantee. Parents are Embark health tested. Extremely limited availability on these puppies. We conduct full Embark panels for genetic testing to guarantee that our Shih Tzu puppies for sale in Florida are free of any hereditary diseases or conditions. We select our sires and dams for their exceptional temperament and color, ensuring they are all AKC registered. Additionally, we provide our dogs with the best possible care, including proper vetting, nutrition, exercise, and socialization, to prepare them for loving homes.

Solid lavender Junie is 2 years old, fit, and athletic. Weighing 11 pounds, she enjoys swimming across our pool during the warmer months to stay active! As a dog that is Embark health tested and clear, she is also very vocal and boasts the funniest personality of all our dogs. Named after our favorite children's book character, Junie B. Jones, the name suits her perfectly. Junie is a delightful example of the breed's charm.
AKC Dam Empress Gia Giselle Granholm "Gee Gee"
Gorgeous Gia is a blond cream sable red liver female, named after my beloved grandmother. Weighing in at just 9 lbs, she is mommy's soft little squishy rag doll! Gia is Embark tested clear and loves wearing sweaters, and giving kisses. She is NOT a fan of hair bows or top knots. Miss Gia enjoys sunning herself, playing with her puppies, and begging for frequent treats. She's quick to give kisses and cuddles, making her the perfect companion. Gia's second litter will be available in August of 2026 when she is paired with her best buddy, Jojo. Keep an eye out for her upcoming litter later this summer.

Beautiful JoJo Jr. is named after his father, the infamous JoJo Sr. of Robin's Nest in North Carolina. This solid lavender stud, at 2 years old and weighing 10 lbs, has already successfully sired three litters! With the softest, fluffiest fur and stunning golden green eyes, he is a true love bug with a tender heart. His happy-go-lucky, laid-back personality shines through, especially when he plays with his best friend and bonded playmate, Miss Gia Giselle. JoJo Jr. is Embark tested and 100% clear, carrying for parti.
AKC / CKC Dual Sire Sir Hankerson Puffington "HANK"
Handsome Hank is seven years old and is a solid chocolate stud who has sired seven wonderful litters of Shih Tzu puppies. He has a muscular, lean, athletic build and weighs 11 lbs. Fully health tested and clear, he carries for lavender and parti. Sir Hank is semi-retired and lives with my son and daughter-in-law.

After giving us beautiful litters, they each deserve a luxurious life as a retired House Princess! As seasoned Shih Tzu breeders, love that each one has their unique personality. Every dog is different, special, quirky, and original in their own way, and we adore them all!
About the Breeders Behind Shih Tzus of Jacksonville:
We are PK and Arlen Lesatz, proud owners of Shih Tzus of Jacksonville, one of the top local Shih Tzu breeders in the area. Originally from Michigan, we made Florida our home in 2019. Throughout our lives, dogs have always been a part of our family. Growing up, we had Labradors, Poodles, and mini Schnauzers. When our children were young, our family included a yellow Lab, a rescue Shepherd mix, and two Yorkies. After our youngest son went off to college and left us as empty nesters, he also left behind his Shih Tzu, Stellie. The thing about Shih Tzus is, if you truly love this breed, you can never have just one! That’s when our journey into breeding Shih Tzu puppies began. We take great pride in three key aspects of our program. First, we cook for our dogs every week—preparing huge batches of fresh meats, vegetables, and whole grains. It’s a lot of work and a significant expense, but we believe it’s worth it! Second, we spend all day, every day with our dogs, showering them with love and attention. They enjoy our yard, go for walks, swim in the pool, lounge in every room in the house, and even sleep in our bed because they are family. Finally, we understand that God has a specific and chosen home for each of our puppies, and we've made many wonderful friends through this perfect pairing process. I personally interview applicants closely because we want to ensure that you will love and treat them just like we do!
